The City of Ottawa has been in the process of gathering community feedback to inform the development of its Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) plan and its Anti-Racism Strategy (ARS). The CSWB plan aims to understand and address the root causes and complex issues around well-being and safety in Ottawa communities. The ARS will target systemic racism by building an anti-racist approach into the way the City develops policies, makes decisions, evaluates programs and measures outcomes. The City has engaged Archipel to organize and facilitate online circles to engage Indigenous communities in Ottawa in these processes. We encourage you to participate in an online circle to discuss these issues and how you, your family and community are impacted, and changes that can be made to address them. The circles will be hosted by Indigenous facilitators. Once you register below, you will be sent a confirmation email with a zoom link 24 hours prior to your session.
