Hope is Mi’kmaq from Listuguj First Nation, with a passionate commitment to advocating for Indigenous communities, especially Indigenous women. Her academic background in Criminology and Native Studies informs her approach to community support and advocacy.

Hope has managed diverse projects, including Treaty education initiatives, alternative housing for Indigenous youth, and family services for First Nations families across New Brunswick.

Her extensive experience within Indigenous communities has honed her ability to build effective professional relationships with colleagues, clientele, and public service representatives
