Sabre is the CEO and co-founder of Archipel Research & Consulting, the founder of Wiskoq Research & Education Institute, and a lawyer with First Peoples Law LLP. A proud Mi’kmaw citizen from Ugpi’ganjig (Eel River Bar First Nation) in northern New Brunswick, Canada, Sabre’s work is deeply rooted in advocating for Indigenous communities, culture, and legal rights.

Sabre’s impactful work has earned her numerous accolades, including Invest Ottawa’s International Woman of the Year 2021, the Donald Marshall Junior Memorial Award 2022 for her advocacy in Aboriginal law, Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year 2022, and the honor of speaking at the United Nations on funding inequities for Indigenous communities globally.

She holds a Juris Doctor in Law with a specialization in Indigenous and Aboriginal Law from Dalhousie University, a M.A. in Indigenous and Canadian Studies from Carleton University, and a B.F.A. in Art History and Indigenous Studies from Concordia University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Laws at UC Berkeley in Human Rights & Environmental Law.

Sabre remains dedicated to promoting Indigenous rights, driving legal reforms, and enhancing global understanding and equity for Indigenous Peoples. With more than 10 years of experience in facilitation, research, and liaison work, Sabre has had the privilege of collaborating with Indigenous communities worldwide and over 70 countries.
