Anti-Oppression / Anti-Racism 101

Our introductory workshops, delivered by individuals with lived experiences of oppression, help define for participants colonialism, anti-Blackness, Islamophobia, gender oppression, and many other forms of oppression in the Canadian context.  

Indigenous Awareness and Respectful Relations

Positive Indigenous-non-Indigenous relations stem from a reciprocal understanding of histories and cultures. Our training sessions have been developed and are facilitated by a team of Indigenous professionals to assist attendees in establishing an understanding of Indigenous histories, cultures, practices, and protocols. Our team of Indigenous teachers and researchers are passionate about expanding non-Indigenous awareness and understandings of Indigenous culture, thereby facilitating more respectful relationships between communities. Offered in half-day, full day, and two-day formats.

What are web apps? Web apps are scalable apps that are accessible by any device through a browser; they can fit infinite combinations of screen dimensions perfectly and elegantly. Whether the device is a phone or computer, Android or iOS, Mac or Windows, the app will be displayed as if it were native to the device. Essentially web apps are ultra dynamic websites that are equipped with multiple programming languages which gives them the extra flexibility they need. The development of a web app consists of developing two key ingredients, a front end, and a back end.
